What you get

Four things. None of them a forty-page report.

Most owners know AI matters. Fewer can tell the hype from the use case that pays for itself in a month. In care, the answer is rarely robots and almost always the admin: care plans, daily notes, rotas, CQC evidence, invoicing. The audit finds yours, in your business, not in theory.

01 / Scorecard

AI Readiness Score

Your score out of 100 across six dimensions: data, tools, skills, leadership, governance, culture. A number you can move, and re-measure at day 90.

02 / Quick wins

Top 3 to 5, costed

Each with the estimated time or cost saving and exactly what it takes to switch on. Hours back to care, pounds on the bottom line. Not vibes.

03 / Findings deck

12 to 15 slides

Everything found, in plain English. Built to be forwarded to your board, your bank, or your registered manager.

04 / Roadmap

90 days, one page

Prioritised, sequenced, with an owner against every action. Stick it on the wall.

DATA6/10
TOOLS7/10
SKILLS4/10
LEADERSHIP8/10
GOVERNANCE3/10
CULTURE7/10

How to read this one: leadership is bought-in and the team is willing, but nobody has shown them how to use the tools properly, and there are no ground rules. Five staff were already pasting resident details into free AI tools after long shifts. Fix governance and skills first; the time savings then land safely. In a CQC-inspected service, that ordering is not optional.

How it works

Two weeks, booking to answer.

Getting started takes one short form and one 20-minute call. From booking to playback is two weeks. All calls by video, arranged around shifts and handovers. Nothing installed, no logins shared, no resident or client data handled, which keeps GDPR and your CQC posture exactly where they were.

Enquire, below

Use the form at the bottom of this page. Book a call straight away, ask for more detail, or ask to start with the questionnaire. I reply within one working day.

02
This week

Discovery call, 20 minutes

Free, no obligation. We check the audit fits your service and you ask anything. If it doesn't fit, I say so and we part friends. Want to proceed? We book the audit on the call.

03
On booking

Questionnaire, online

A link to a 30-minute online form lands in your inbox: tick boxes and short answers about tools, team and pain points. Nothing to print, post or email back. Honest beats polished.

04
Days 3 to 5

Kickoff, 60 minutes

You and me. What you want from AI, which parts of the business we probe, and your no-go areas. Respected throughout.

05
Days 5 to 9

Three staff interviews

Thirty minutes each with the people doing the work: a senior carer, someone in the office, whoever runs the rota. This is where the real use cases live, along with the unofficial AI use.

06
Days 9 to 12

Analysis & scoring

8 to 12 candidate use cases scored on impact, effort and risk. Readiness scored across six dimensions, with evidence against every number.

07
Day 14

Playback, 60 minutes

I walk you through the scorecard, the quick wins and the plan, then hand everything over. Yours to keep and share.

08
Day 90

Re-score, optional

A half-day readiness re-score. Same rubric, honest delta. The score is a number you can move, so we measure whether you moved it.

The house rule
Sometimes the right AI spend is zero. If that's the finding, that's the finding. You'll get it in writing, and I'll have saved you a lot more than £750.
Straight answers

The small print, in large print.

What the audit is not
No implementation, no vendor procurement, no custom builds, no more than three interviews, one playback session, one round of minor amendments. That discipline is what keeps it £750 and two weeks. Anything bigger is scoped separately, with your credit applied.
Do you need access to our systems?
No. The audit works from your questionnaire, the interviews and what you show me on screen. Nothing installed, no logins shared, and no resident or client data handled, ever. Your GDPR and CQC position stays exactly where it was. The audit usually improves it, because the first finding in most care settings is staff quietly using free AI tools on resident information, and the fix is a one-page set of ground rules that costs nothing.
Who is actually doing the work?
Me, Kevin Clubb. My day job is making data and AI useful inside a large UK business in a regulated, inspected, people-heavy sector: data platform, BI, CRM rollout, live AI adoption. The parallels with care (compliance evidence, shift patterns, thin margins, funder invoicing) are why care providers are my focus. The thinking is published in the open on ai-sustained.com, so you can judge it before you spend a pound.
What if we're too small, or not ready?
Then the discovery call is where I say so, and we part friends. The audit suits providers of roughly 10 to 250 staff: a single care home, a domiciliary agency, a small group, or the equivalent in any other hands-on sector. Smaller than that and the answer is usually a conversation, not an audit.
Book the audit

Book a call, or just register interest.

Same three fields either way. Pick what you want on the right: a 20-minute call, more detail first, or jump straight to the questionnaire. I come back within one working day, and if the audit doesn't fit your service I'll say so rather than sell it.
